As you already know, Apeline Alpha is the original "untempered" timeline of the 1968's Planet of the Apes visited by Taylor and Brent.
Well, originally I placed the Nuclear War in 2200 or so. Minutes ago, I moved the large-scale conflict back to the end of the 20th century, since the NY ruins we see in Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes seem to suggest so and even because - in Apeline Beta - the war occurred in 1992. Cornelius and Zira as well as Caesar and his "revolution" at the Ape Management Center did not influence that so much I guess.
Just a little "cut" with the Occam's razor, it can do no harm.
